Well, I went to the doctor last Friday and everything is progressing right on track. She said that I had progressed to 2cm dilated, 60% effaced, and the baby was in the -3 station (which means she has moved into the birth canal). Based on this, she scheduled me for an induction on Wednesday the 17th (yes, one week from tomorrow!!!). However, when I go back this Friday, if I have not made any progress she will push it back to Friday the 19th. Either way, I am going to be a mommy by the end of next week!!!
What would be really neat is if I went into labor this Sunday (the 14th) because my mom's birthday is the 12th and mine is the 13th, so we would have 3 generations with birthdays back-to-back-to-back! I'm not holding my breath, but it would be a pretty cool story!!!
Well, this is just a quick update. I go back to the doctor this Friday for my 38 week check and will know everything definitively after that appointment. I will be sure to let everyone know!!!
