I am now 38 weeks pregnant and officially 94 hours from being induced!!! Holy cow, I can't believe how close it is!!! I am still hoping to go into natural labor today or tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath. If she is meant to be born on the 14th God will make sure that happens.
I went to the doctor yesterday for my final check up. Everything looked and sounded perfect. I am about the same as last week as far as dilation and effacement, but my doctor said that based on the changes I have already had she is still comfortable inducing me on Wednesday. So, if she doesn't come before then, Wednesday is the final day!!! The only thing that might change the date is if a lot of women go into labor Monday and Tuesday because then the hospital may not have a bed for us, so hopefully the full moon Monday doesn't cause anything crazy to happen! But, in the end babies come when they come and you can't really do a whole lot about it!
Well, I have a lot of work to get done before Monday so I better get busy. We will be sure to keep everyone posted. I probably won't get around to updating this until we come home from the hospital, but I will update with labor and hospital details (nothing gross, I promise) as soon as I can. Oh, and of course there will be lots of pictures!!! We cannot wait to meet our little girl!!!
