Okay, first of all... I am sorry it has been so long since I have updated our blog. It's one of those things that has been on my to-do list, but just kept getting put on the back burner. But I finally have some free time, Will is holding Lorali, and for once I don't have any work to do!!!
Well, to kinda recap the past couple months...
We spent Thanksgiving going on what seemed like a whirlwind tour of the Southeast. We started by stopping off in Nashville and visiting our friends Cortney and Jason and their brand new baby girl Paige. She was a whole 3 days old when we were there. It was crazy to think that just a few weeks before Lorali had been that tiny!!! What's even crazier is the fact that we were there for a whole day and I was so busy I never thought to take out my camera to get a picture of all of us!!! So, unfortunately I don't have a picture of the newest Rockhill...
We left Nashville the next morning and went to visit with Will's Aunt Karen and Connie in Huntsville. They had a blast loving on Lorali and it was great to visit with them, even if it was for just a day. Here is a picture of our visit there...

So... our next stop was Birmingham. We started by going to Will's dad's house. We spent a day there then left and visited with his Nanny and Granddaddy before heading to his mom's house. By this point in our trip we were starting to realize that taking a 10-week old baby to 4 different houses in four days was not the best idea :( The next day was finally Thanksgiving and poor Lorali was so upset we ended up having to cut our visit short. There were some good moments though... here are some pictures from Thankgiving...

She loves her football!!! This is her and Aunt Gena watching the Alabama-Auburn game...

This next picture was taken after the longest car ride ever!!! I have never been so happy to take her out of her carseat!!! Bless her little heart... we left Birmingham a day early because she was being so fussy. We just wanted to get her somewhere that we wouldn't have to get up and leave the next day. So, we went ahead to Knoxville to Bob and Becky's house.

After being gone for 8 days we finally got home. I wasn't sure if she would recognize our house or not but as soon as we walked through the door she was all smiles!!! It was kinda nice to know that she knows where her home is :)
After a couple weeks Will's sister, brother-in-law and their 2 kids stopped by on their way to Birmingham for Christmas. Will's mom, brother Bear and new sister-in-law Maggie also came up to visit and celebrate Christmas with us. Colton and Catelyn are getting so big... they give us so much to look forward to with Lorali! Of course I don't want her to grow up too fast, but I am excited to be able to play with her like we do them. It was a busy weekend with a full house but a lot of fun. I think we were almost successful in convincing Jason that he and Colton needed a nintendo Wii... We probably played the Wii more that weekend than we have since we bought it over a year ago!!! Here are some pictures from their visit...

A few days later it was time to try traveling again and we headed up to Ohio for a few days. The 4 weeks that passed from Thanksgiving to Christmas seemed to help and the trip wasn't nearly as stressful as the Thanksgiving one (there was still some screaming though, don't get me wrong). One of the highlights of our Ohio visit for me was finally being able to take our 5-generation picture!!! I have a copy of the 4-generation picture we took when I was a baby so I was really excited to take the 5-generation picture with Lorali.

We had some firsts happen while we were visiting my family. Lorali held her bottle by herself for the first time...

And probably the biggest thing that happened is we got Lorali's ears pierced :) I was tired of people calling her a boy or asking if "it was a boy or a girl" so we decided we would get them pierced while she was young enough that she wouldn't remember it and wouldn't bother them... She did cry for a little bit but for the most part she handled it very well. I think the sound of the gun scared her more than it actually hurt her... Here is a pretty sad little picture :) But they look really good!!!

We also spent a day at my dad and Debbie's house... here is a picture of Grandpa Scott and Grandma Debbie with their granddaughter...

We left Ohio on New Year's Eve and stopped to bring in the New Year with my family in Lexington at Uncle Steve and Aunt Jane's house. Here are some pictures from our New Year's Eve celebration...

The Friday after New Year's was the day of the Alabama-Utah Sugar Bowl. We had some people over to the house. We were originally supposed to go to Knoxville to watch it but since we had been gone for so long we decided it was probably best for Lorali to just stay at the house. Unfortunately the Tide couldn't pull out the win, but we had a good time. Here is a picture... Roll Tide...

Lastly, we had her Christmas/3month pictures taken back in December. Instead of copying and pasting a bunch more pictures on here, if you would like to see them click on this link: https://www.smilesbywire.com/home.asp?AC=LTPP0443101851JCP Type in Alisha Hill for the customer name (no, it's not spelled right) and you should be able to view them. We are getting some more pictures of her taken this weekend so once I get that link and information I will post it on here as well. Here are a couple more pictures of her in her jumperoo and exersaucer...
I will try to not let another 2 months go by before I update this again... Until next time...
Love,
Ahleasha, Will, and Lorali
