Fun-Packed Weekend...

Hello Again...

Just wanted to update everyone and tell you about this past weekend. We had a bunch of our friends in from Birmingham and Nashville for one last "hoorah" before our little girl gets here.

We had a total of 8 people sleeping at our house Friday and Saturday nights and we had a cookout Saturday night with almost 20 people! It was really nice to have everyone here to visit and be able to spend some quality time with them. Everybody got in Friday night pretty late, so we just kinda hung out. Saturday morning the boys got up and played golf while the girls went to Knoxville to lay by Becky's pool at her subdivision. Then we all gathered back at the house for the cookout. I think the best way to describe everything was organized chaos. It all seemed to go off without a hitch, but I am so thankful to the people who helped clean up and keep our house from getting destroyed! Once everybody ate and we hung out for a little while, we then left and met up with everyone at a little bar in the gap. Sunday morning everyone got up, ate breakfast, and slowly started to head home. It was great having everyone there, but I was ready to spend the day relaxing!!!

Later that afternoon Will and I were sitting on the couch and he had his head on my stomach. He thinks he was able to hear the baby's heart beat through my belly!!! I had read that this is possible if she is in the right position, so it was pretty exciting... then, while Will was trying to listen to his little girl's heart beat, she kicked him in the side of the head!!! It was pretty funny, especially when she did it a second time a few minutes later... She really seems to be having a good time in there. :)

Another exciting event was that today was me and Will's 3-year wedding anniversary!!! It has been an amazing 3 years and we both can't wait to start the next chapter of our lives with our little girl.

Well, that's just a little update on what's going on with us... I go to the doctor next Thursday for a check-up so I will have more to report then! We hope this finds all of you well... keep us posted!

Love,
Ahleasha, Will, and Lorali Claire
